Wen Wu at Coventry Centre of Contemporary Art, FarGo Village.
Chinese painter Wen Wu intends to counter the commercialisation of art production in today’s China by focusing, primarily, on the representation of beauty. She works away from the politically orientated Social Realist style which was popular with the generation of painters working immediately before her, by pulling in Western references.
This exhibition is a part of Scratch the Surface Festival.
Open Saturday & Sunday. 12pm – 4pm.
And by appointment.
