Tammy Woodrow Artist Talk. Meter Room Studios and Project Space.
This Warwickshire based artist talks about her practice and the work she is showing in the Bear & Ragged Staff exhibition.
4pm – 5pm
Mead Tasting Ritual. Hipkiss & Graney at Various Locations (Meet at Meter Room Studios and Project Space).
During this participatory ritual you will join a small procession which starts at Meter Room Studios and Project Space and ends at Hipkiss & Graney’s monumental, architectural sculpture, Dead Shrine. Once inside the shrine you will enjoy short and long brew meads made by the artists.
6:30pm – 9pm. Tickets cost £10. Please pay cash on arrival.
World Mental Health Day as a part of Scratch the Surface Festival. Marketplace, FarGo Village
A performance by poet, comedian, musician and songwriter John Hegley to celebrate World Mental Health Day 2017 followed by the launch of the new Scratch the Surface zine. This event is also the launch the next phase of the Pod’s evolution.

How does the city nest in your senses? Is it shaped by habit and half-attention? Do you feel yourself as a part of the complexity… or stay safely within the expected? During this performance you will enter secret vantage points and encounter the unexpected. On the day of the performance you will be sent a message with the secret starting place. The experience will last approximately 80 minutes. Note that the piece will include both indoor and outdoor locations in central Coventry and will proceed rain or shine.
